Transparent Self-Pay Lab Pricing Calculator

Knowing the price of a lab test should not feel mysterious.

At Northwest DPC & Headache, we believe patients should be able to see common lab costs up front whenever possible. This page is here to help you look up self-pay lab pricing, plan ahead, and better understand what your testing may cost through our clinic.

If you are already a patient, use the lab lookup tool on this page to search common tests and estimated prices. If you are considering joining, this page gives you a clearer sense of one of the practical benefits of direct primary care: simpler, more transparent costs.

Lab Calculator

How to use tool:

  1. Search for a test by name or code.
Use the lookup tool to find common lab tests and panels.

  2. Review the listed patient cost.
The displayed amount is meant to help you estimate the self-pay price through our clinic.

  3. Keep in mind that some panels include multiple components or be named differently.
In some cases, the total reflects the sum of the listed patient costs for the included tests. In other cases, it may be listed under another name (example: A1c vs Hemoglobin A1c)

  4. Ask if you are unsure what you need.
Not every patient needs every lab. Good primary care is not about ordering more tests than necessary. It is about ordering the right tests for the right reason.

What these prices do and do not mean

These listed prices are best understood as self-pay clinic pricing for common labs and as a best estimate - for final pricing, please call our clinic. They are useful for planning, but they do not replace individualized medical advice about what testing is appropriate for you.

A few important notes:

  • Prices may change over time.

  • Not every lab test is listed on this page.

  • Some specialized tests may need separate review.

  • The final set of labs ordered depends on your medical situation, symptoms, medications, and goals.

  • If you have questions about whether a test is necessary, that discussion matters just as much as the price.

How Lab Pricing Fits into Direct Primary Care

Lab testing in Spokane, WA can be significantly discounted through Direct Primary Care.

One of the biggest advantages of direct primary care is that routine care can be simpler.

At Northwest DPC, the membership is built around easier access, longer visits, direct communication, and clearer pricing. Discounted labs are part of that bigger picture. Instead of navigating opaque pricing every time testing comes up, patients can more often understand costs ahead of time and make decisions with better information.

Lab Pricing FAQ

  • They are not! This page is designed around transparent self-pay pricing through our clinic. We are able to price our labs lower because we cut out middle-men.

  • You can have insurance, but we don’t bill insurance directly. You are able to pay with HSA funds, or be reimbursed with HSA funds. The only exception to this rule is that we do bill Traditional Medicare.

  • We work hard to keep these up to date based on our contracted rates. But they are best treated as current working prices for planning purposes only. Because outside costs can change, occasional updates may be needed. But the prices should be relatively close.

  • That is normal. Lab decisions should be based on your symptoms, history, medications, and goals. If you are unsure, schedule a visit so we can help you choose the right testing.
